Moving Lymph Pty Ltd Cancellation & Refund Policy - updated 6 April 2022

 

  • For the purposes of this policy, stakeholder entities are defined as

    • The Promoter - Moving Lymph Pty Ltd​

    • The Organiser - an entity or person in each location who manages all aspects of the Practical (face-to-face) Courses.

    • The Participant - any person enrolled in any Moving Lymph Pty Ltd or Moving Lymph Online Course.
       

  • The following items are non-refundable

    • Dr Vodder's Level 1 Online Theory Module 

    • MTC Lymph Taping Pre-course

    • Any online course purchased at #MovingLymphOnline

    • Bank charges associated with receiving course fees
       
  • Practical Course deposits

    • A non-refundable deposit of up to $250 per Level may be requested by the Course Promoter to the confirmation date* of any Practical Courses.

    • Deposits will be refunded if the Course Promoter cancels the Practical Course for any reason without offering an alternative course within 2-years.

    • Deposits may be refunded in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the Course Organiser.

  • Practical Course fees may be refunded if

    • The student withdraws before the confirmation date* (deposits may be withheld)

    • The Promoter cancels the course before the confirmation date* (full refund including any deposits paid)​​​
       

  • Prior to the confirmation date*

    • Participants may change their Practical Course location, or defer to a later course, without penalty.

    • Any difference in Practical Course fees in the new location will be paid to the Promoter by the Participant.
       

  • If a Participant changes their Practical Course location or defers a course after the confirmation date*

    • an administrative fee of AUD 250 will be charged.
       

  • If a Participant withdraws from a course after the confirmation date* no refund will be made.

* Unless otherwise stated, the confirmation date is shown on the Course Calendar.

COVID Specific Cancellation & Refund Policy (updated 22 February 2022)

These COVID-specific clauses should be read in conjunction with the Moving Lymph Cancellation & Refund Policy above and apply to all face-to-face courses in Australia and New Zealand. Participants are expected to follow any COVID restrictions or health orders in place at the time and location in which the classes are held, and every effort is made to continue courses when at all possible.

 

However, if classes are disrupted by COVID in any way the following will apply.

  1. If due to COVID restrictions, border closures, or health orders, a Practical Course is postponed prior to commencement

    • Practical Course fees and deposits will be transferred to the rescheduled dates and no refund will be made.

      • If you are unable to attend a new course within 2-years* a partial refund may be made. 

  2. If the Practical course is held and a Participant withdraws due to COVID restrictions, border closures, or health orders

    • Practical Course fees and deposits will be transferred to the next available course and no refund will be made

      • If you are unable to attend a new course within 2-years* a partial refund may be made. 

  3. If due to vaccination status or health orders a Participant is unable to enter the venue in which the course is held

    • ​No refund will be made.

      • At the discretion of the Course Organiser Participants may be able to complete at the next available course.

  4. Participants in Australia will be required to sign the Moving Lymph Pty Ltd Classroom COVID-related agreement and insurance disclaimer. ​​

  5. If a Participant develops any symptom of infection during the course they will be required to

    • Immediately leave the classroom and not re-enter until a negative test is provided

    • No refunds will be made

      • At the discretion of the Course Organiser Participants may be able to complete at the next available course.

 

New Zealand Specific Cancellation & Refund Policy (updated 22 February 2022)

 

The Moving Lymph Cancellation & Refund Policy and COVID-specific Cancellation & Refund Policy described above apply to all courses held in New Zealand. In addition to the above policies, the following will apply to Participants in Practical Courses held in New Zealand.

  1. In the event that any Practical course is postponed due to COVID

    • Practical Course fees will be transferred to a new Practical Course date in New Zealand

      • No refunds will be made.

  2. If you withdraw from a Practical Course after the course has been confirmed

    • Any Practical Course fees paid will be transferred to the next available Practical Course in New Zealand

      • No refund will be made.

  3. If you withdraw from a Practical Course after the course has been confirmed and you do not elect to transfer to a new Practical course in New Zealand

    • Any Practical Course fees will be forfeit.

  4. If you cannot provide evidence of vaccination passport when required, you will not be admitted to the classroom

    • No refunds will be made.

      • ​At the discretion of the Course Organiser Participants may be able to complete at the next available course.

2-year rule

Students in Dr Vodder Courses are encouraged to complete both Levels in their chosen Certificate consecutively. Level 1 alone is not an MLD qualification and has a limited range of applications.

 

If you do not take both levels together you may be required to repeat Level 1, or attend a Level 1 Review Day before progressing to the next Level as follows; 

  • If your Level 1 Certificate is dated more than 6-months previously, you will need to attend the L1 Review before progressing to the next level.

  • If your Level 1 Certificate is dated more than 12-months previously, you will need to repeat Level 1 before progressing to the next level.

Graduates of AMLD, CDT and ANF Certificates may undertake further Certificate courses without repeating Level 1, but may be required to attend the L1 Review or repeat the previous Level as follows;

  • If your previous Certificate is dated more than 2-years previously, you will need to attend the L1 Review.

  • If your previous Certificate is dated more than 4-years previously, will need to repeat your previous Level, or you may opt to repeat Level 1.
