The self-directed Practical Workshop will step you though how to apply a test strip and begin to practice some simple taping applications.

 

This Course Aims to develop tape cutting and handling skills and provide opportunities to practice applying kinesiology tape in a safe and appropriate manner.

 

Learning Outcomes

  • On completion students will have had the opportunity to

  • Understand the effects and benefits of kinesiology tapes as applied to assist lymph drainage

  • Prepare for lymph taping application

  • Follow instructions to safely apply a test strip

  • Follow instructions to safely remove kinesiology tapes

  • Identify co-morbidities which contraindicate lymph taping

  • Practice the application of kinesiology tapes for sinus congestion
