Fibrosis Case Study
Maureen had a very woody forearm, and over the years we conducted a few experiments on different fibrosis techniques. Each within a 4-week intensive of MLD & bandaging.
We used four different techniques to address fibrosis.
Dr Vodder fibrosis techniques
Low-level scanning laser (showing wrong part of arm, imagine it is on forearm)
A chipped foam muff - sorry no photo
Kinesiololgy tape applied at 10% to forearm with lymph tapes over the wrist.
Results
When I asked Maureen which treatment softened her arm the most she was adamant it was the laser - the belief that technology is better is strong among us!.....
Actually the laser, hand techniques, and chipped foam muff, were all equally good at softening the fibrosis.
But the kinesiology tape returned a superior result, and from my observations with Maureen and other clients, and my personal experience of resolving breast fibrosis* using tape, it is now my preferred treatment to address fibrosis.

Very succinct description of case study.
